This notice explains the store's core practices in the context of Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law 151/2020 and its executive regulations. Reading it is not marketing consent.

Information and sources

When you buy or contact us, we use information you provide such as your name, phone, email, delivery address, products, order details and correspondence. For returns/refunds, we use order and amount details and the wallet or bank information necessary for the repayment method agreed with you. We do not request your wallet/account PIN or verification code.

The store runs on Shopify, which also processes technical information about store use, such as device/browser information, internet address and site interactions, in providing platform services. Delivery/payment providers may send us fulfilment updates such as delivery status or transaction confirmation. This does not mean we hold full card details or bank account login credentials.

Purposes and grounds

We use necessary information to receive and fulfil orders, deliver goods, collect payments, manage returns/exchanges/refunds and answer questions. Necessary information also supports legal obligations, recordkeeping, complaints and transaction protection against fraud. The processing ground depends on the purpose and circumstances: contractual performance or legal obligation where applicable, or consent where applicable rules require it. We do not rely on assumed blanket consent.

Accurate contact/delivery details are necessary for an order; missing essential information may prevent delivery or repayment. Buying does not by itself consent to CLEP marketing messages; Shopify advertising-personalisation processing is explained below.

Recipients

We share necessary information with Shopify to operate the store, with Bosta for delivery and collection, and with providers needed for payment, refunds and order support according to their roles. Delivery/refund providers are not sent information unnecessary for their service. Information may be disclosed to competent authorities where law requires.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for this store. Shopify uses your store-interaction data with other data it holds to improve its products, including advertising targeting and personalisation. Cookies and marketing

The platform may use cookies/similar technologies for functions such as the cart, sessions and security. Accepting purchase terms or reading this notice is not consent to optional tools or electronic marketing. Where processing requires consent, appropriate separate consent must be obtained before use, with withdrawal under applicable rules. Processing outside Egypt

The store's Shopify data-hosting location is the United States, so store data is stored or processed outside Egypt. Other providers may also process data outside Egypt. Transfers remain subject to applicable legal requirements. Contact us to ask about recipients and locations relevant to your data.

Retention and protection

We retain information for necessary collection purposes, legal obligations and claims, then delete or de-identify it where retention is no longer required. Periods depend on record type, purpose and legal requirements; you can ask for clarification about your data. We restrict access to service needs and use appropriate safeguards without guaranteeing absolute security. A notifiable breach is subject to applicable legal notification procedures and timing.

Rights and complaints

Subject to legal conditions/exceptions, you may request information about and access to your data, correction, updating or deletion, withdraw consent or object where applicable. Email info@clepwear.com; proportionate identity verification may be needed. We explain any legal retention or valid reason preventing part of a request and handle it within applicable legal periods. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier processing based on consent.

If you believe a child provided information inappropriately, contact us to investigate and take required action. You may complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center through its official website without giving up another right. We update this notice as practices change, showing the revision date and obtaining new consent/providing notice where required.
